Founded in 2010 by Mustafa İnci and Fatih Bayraktar, Volta Motor was established with the vision of shaping the future of electric mobility. Taking its name from Italian physicist Alessandro Volta—the inventor of the modern battery—our company was founded by two entrepreneurial engineers who believed that electric mobility would be the future of transportation. Their goal was to develop innovative and accessible electric vehicles that would transform urban travel. Today, Volta is one of the leading brands pioneering the electric mobility revolution in Turkey and has also built a strong presence in international markets.

Volta Motor is currently one of Turkey’s largest manufacturers of electric motorcycles and light electric vehicles. Operating in three integrated production facilities in Düzce (Gümüşova, Cumayeri, and Çilimli), the company has an annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles. With over 750 employees and more than 90 engineers, we continue to develop sustainable mobility solutions in line with the highest quality standards.

From the outset, Volta Motor has placed great emphasis on R&D and innovation. At our R&D centre located in TÜBİTAK MARTEK Free Technology Zone, we conduct advanced research in critical areas such as battery technology, fast-charging systems and extended range.
