1) What is Volta Motor's legal basis for collecting personal data?
The most fundamental regulation regarding the protection of our customers’ personal data is made in the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698. In addition, the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce No. 6563 also includes provisions regarding the protection of personal data. In the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237, penal sanctions are foreseen in the event that personal data is unlawfully recorded, seized, disseminated, deleted, destroyed or not anonymized within the system despite the expiration of the storage period.
On the other hand, data must be collected and used in order to fulfill our obligations arising from the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation.

- To increase customer satisfaction, to be able to recognize our customers who shop from the website and/or mobile applications and to use them in customer circle analysis, to use them in various marketing and advertising activities and to organize surveys in electronic and/or physical environments through contracted organizations within this scope,
- To be able to provide suggestions to our customers through our contracted institutions and solution partners and to inform our customers about our services,

- To fulfill our legal obligations and exercise our rights arising from the current legislation,
5) How does Volta Motor protect your personal data?
Personal data shared with Volta Motor is under the supervision and control of Volta Motor. Volta Motor has assumed responsibility as the data controller to establish the necessary organization and to take and adapt technical measures in order to protect the confidentiality and integrity of information in accordance with the relevant legislation in force. Being aware of our obligation in this regard, we conduct periodic penetration tests in accordance with international and national technical standards on data confidentiality and we would like to inform you that we always update our data processing policies in this context.
6) Does Volta Motor share your personal data?
Sharing of our customers' personal data with third parties is done with the permission of the customers, and as a rule, personal data is not shared with third parties without the approval of our customers.
However, due to and limited to our legal obligations, personal data is shared with courts and other public institutions. In addition, personal data is transferred to contracted third parties in order to provide the services we undertake and to control the quality of the services provided.
Necessary technical and legal measures are taken to prevent rights violations during data transfer to third parties. However, Volta Motor is not responsible for any violations that occur due to the data protection policies of the third party receiving personal data and in the risk area under the responsibility of the third party.
Your personal data may be shared with Volta Motor shareholders, program partner institutions and organizations with which we cooperate in order to carry out our direct/indirect domestic/international activities, domestic/international persons and organizations from which we receive data storage services in the cloud environment, domestic/international organizations with which we have agreements regarding sending commercial electronic messages to our customers, the Interbank Card Center, banks with which we have agreements, and various domestic and international agencies, advertising companies and survey companies and other domestic/international third parties and relevant business partners within the scope of various marketing activities in order to provide you with better service and to ensure customer satisfaction.
7)What are your rights arising from the Personal Data Protection Law?
In accordance with Law No. 6698, your personal data;
1- Learning whether it is processed or not,
2- Requesting information if it has been processed,
3- Learning the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
4- Knowing the third parties to whom the data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
5- Request correction if it is processed incompletely/wrongly,
6- Requesting deletion/destruction within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of Law No. 6698,
7- Requesting notification of the transactions made pursuant to clauses (d) and (e) above to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
8- Object to any adverse results arising from analysis by exclusively automatic systems,
9- We would like to remind you that you have the right to demand compensation for the damages in case you suffer damages due to processing of your personal data in violation of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698.
